“The wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin.” – Proverbs 10:14

In relationships, words build or break foundations. Not every thought deserves to be spoken, and not every feeling must be acted on immediately. Wisdom stores up knowledge—watching, discerning, waiting for the right moment to speak or act.
Today, you may feel the urge to confront, correct, or confess in love. But before you speak, ask God: Is this wisdom, or is this reaction? Sometimes, silence can protect a connection while you wait for a heart to soften. Other times, a gentle, Spirit-led word can heal a wound you didn’t even know was open.
Love is not reckless with words. It builds carefully, layer by layer, with truth, kindness, and patience.
If you're longing for clarity in a relationship, trust that wisdom often speaks loudest through timing and tone, not just urgency.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to be wise with my words in every relationship. Help me to store up knowledge, speak in season, and guard the hearts of those You have placed around me. Let my love be guided by wisdom, not by emotion alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.
