“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” – Proverbs 15:1

Love isn’t just found in grand gestures—it’s revealed in how we speak when we’re frustrated, tired, or tested. A gentle response can soften even the hardest heart. But harsh words can damage what took years to build.
Today, love will be tested not by what you do, but by what you say—and how you say it. The true mark of maturity in love is learning to hold your peace when pride wants to lash out. There is power in softness. There is healing in humility.
If you want love to last, let your mouth serve your heart—not your ego. Silence can be holy. Kindness can be prophetic.
Speak peace. Sow gentleness. Let the atmosphere of your relationships reflect the Spirit of God, not the heat of your emotions.
Prayer: Lord, teach me to love with my words. Help me respond with patience and speak with wisdom. Guard my tongue from stirring up strife, and fill my mouth with peace. Let my tone reflect Your Spirit. Strengthen my relationships through gentleness and grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
