“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17

Growth rarely happens in isolation. God designed people to stretch people. The right relationships will challenge your comfort, correct your blind spots, and call out the greatness in you. But the wrong ones will stunt your development, feed your insecurity, and numb your potential.
Today, take a moment to consider who sharpens you. Who in your life encourages wisdom, not just opinions? Who reminds you of your identity in Christ when you feel weak or confused? Personal growth isn't just about setting goals—it’s about choosing the right people to grow with.
And don’t forget: sharpening goes both ways. God may be calling you to be a source of strength and accountability to someone else. You are not just being formed—you are being used to form others.
This is a season for spiritual maturity, not just motivation. Iron doesn’t sharpen iron gently—but it does make it stronger, better, and more effective.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to grow in wisdom and in character. Place the right people in my life—those who will sharpen me in love and truth. Remove anything or anyone that hinders my growth, and help me to be a blessing to those around me. Make me teachable, humble, and ready for Your refining. In Jesus’ name, amen.
