“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” – Proverbs 4:23

What you allow into your heart will shape how you live. The heart is the command centre of your life—your thoughts, your choices, your emotions, even your relationships all flow from what’s hidden there.
Today, the Word reminds you to protect your peace, your purity, and your perspective. That doesn’t mean shutting people out—it means choosing what voices have influence. It means filtering your feed, setting boundaries, and not entertaining what drains you spiritually.
Some of the confusion or heaviness you feel might not be random. It could be the result of unguarded access. Everything doesn’t deserve a response, and everyone doesn’t deserve a front-row seat.
God wants to heal your heart—but He also wants you to guard it.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to guard my heart with wisdom and grace. Show me what to release and what to protect. Cleanse me from anything I’ve allowed in that doesn’t honour You. Help me to be sensitive to Your Spirit, and not led by emotion or pressure. In Jesus’ name, amen.
