"Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart." – Proverbs 3:3 (NIV)

Love is more than an emotion—it is a lifelong commitment to consistency. When love and faithfulness walk together, they build relationships that withstand pressure, pain, and time. But to sustain that kind of love, you must choose it daily.
This proverb challenges you to wear love like your identity, not your mood. To bind it around your neck means it should be visible—tangible in how you speak, act, and respond. Writing it on your heart means it shapes your internal world—your motives, your decisions, your character.
This kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It’s forged through wisdom, nurtured by God, and proven in difficulty. When you walk in love that’s faithful, you don’t just reflect God’s heart—you create a culture that honours Him.
Let today be a reminder: don’t just say you love. Live it. Bind it. Carry it faithfully.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to love consistently—not just when it’s easy or convenient. Teach me to walk in love and faithfulness, to be someone whose words and actions reflect Your heart. Write Your love deep into my character, and let it be the standard by which I live and relate to others.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
